THE DARK PICTURES : DEVIL IN ME

BAFTA award-winning composer Jason Graves returns to craft a thrilling original soundtrack to The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me. Feel right at home while listening to a creepy gramophone left playing as you arrive for check-in. Fine-tune your ear to every bump in the night in this exclusive, limited-edition vinyl.

Assassin’s Creed - Leap Into History

Assassin’s Creed launched in 2007, introducing the world to Altaïr, the Assassin Brotherhood, the Templar Order, and the Pieces of Eden; and kicking off a franchise that would go on to sell over 155 million copies.

As part of AC’s 15th anniversary celebrations, Ubisoft and Laced Records have created Assassin’s Creed - Leap Into History — a special 5-disc vinyl box set spanning 12 games from the historied series. This Limited Edition (exclusive to the Laced store) features ‘gold nugget’ discs, a custom slipmat with the brand new 15th Anniversary logo, and a 12" art print.

Listeners will be taken on a truly epic chronological journey through the series’ historical timeline — starting in antiquity with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and ending in the modern era with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Each vinyl side includes music from one of the mainline games (Ezio sequels Brotherhood and Revelations share a side, as do Unity and Rogue.)

A carefully curated selection of 70 tracks have been specially mastered for vinyl and will be pressed onto heavyweight LPs. These slip into printed inner sleeves, all of which fits snugly into a rigid board slipcase adorned with gold foil.

Stray 2

Stray’s decaying cybercity is made up of dense, neon-tinted narrow alleys populated by all manner of eccentric robotic denizens, an unwelcoming environment for a lone tabby of little stature.

For the game’s soundtrack, composer Yann Van Der Cruyssen captured that central idea — seeing a desolate cyberpunk metro from the eyes of an unassuming feline — and translated it into a synthy soundscape, filled with reverberating chords and driving, pulsing drum beats, punctuated by unexpected and welcome moments of instrumental whimsy.

Collaborating with developer BlueTwelve Studios and Annapurna Interactive, iam8bit is proud to present, for your listening pleasure, the soundtrack to Stray on audiophile-approved 180g black vinyl, across a two-disc set. It’s packaged in appropriately atmospheric album art from Fernando Correa, complete with foil embellishments. Included in your vinyl package is a download card for a Steam version of the album as well. Even the smallest feline is a masterpiece of nature — and we hope you find this album to be a worthy tribute to our furry friends.

Sonic Spinball

Released in partnership with SEGA, we are proud to announce the debut vinyl edition of Sonic Spinball. Originally released in 1993 for the Mega Drive console, Sonic Spinball was an ambitious hybrid of pinball and platforming and a significant departure from previous Sonic the Hedgehog games. This change of game style, along with the industrial-themed level designs, also inspired a very different kind of Sonic soundtrack. Composed by Howard Drossin, Brian Coburn and Barry Blum from the SEGA Technical Institute in the USA (where the game was also developed), the music of Sonic Spinball is suitably darker, industrial and wholly unique for a Sonic game of the era.

Sonic Spinball is presented as a 180g vinyl edition, remastered in-house and cut at 45RPM. The audio was sourced from a Japanese Mega Drive console, alongside archival files supplied by Sonic Team. It is packaged in a heavyweight matt laminated sleeve and accompanied by a lithographic print of the classic cover art and an obi strip. It is available in the following editions:

180g Frosted Clear with Translucent Blue Stripes (Limited Edition) 180g Translucent Blue

180g Classic Black

Breath of Fire

Ship to Shore PhonoCo. is proud to present on vinyl for the first time: the original video game soundtrack to Capcom’s Breath Of Fire II!

Known for its epic scope, Breath Of Fire II has consumed many a plucky gamer’s time since its release in the mid-90s when it made its first appearance on the SNES console. A whole new generation later discovered the game when it was ported over to the Game Boy Advance at the beginning of the 21st century, and then again when it was released on the Wii Virtual Console in 2007. The epic scope of its storyline, characterisations and turn-based combat have become the things of legend amongst the faithful and, as is to be expected, the 16-BIT soundtrack - this time composed by Capcom Sound Team’s Yuko Takehara - is indicative of the adventures that await any and all RPG junkies who dare to enter the Breath Of Fire world.

Presented on limited edition vinyl - the first time the score has been available on the format - with artwork by Tbone & AlJax and featuring liner notes by Axe of the Blood God podcast host Nadia Oxford, this is one release that both Breath Of Fire aficionados and video game soundtrack collectors will not want to miss!

BPM: Bullets Per Minute

Black Screen Records is excited to announce that Joe Collinson & Sam Houghton's banging soundtrack to Awe Interactive's rhythm-action FPS rogue-like game BPM: Bullets Per Minute is finally coming to vinyl this summer.

The soundtrack will be available on limited edition red/black & orange/black marbled vinyl and comes in a gatefold sleeve with official key art from the game. The vinyl also includes the bonus track "Yggdrasil’s Roots" by Reuben Hawthorn.

"When we were in our homes composing the BPM soundtrack remotely during the height of the pandemic in 2020, we had no idea that it would reach the audience it has today. We’re so happy that so many people continue to enjoy our (frankly ridiculous) music.

We’re so proud to have worked with Black Screen Records on what we believe to be the ultimate listening experience for our soundtrack to BPM: Bullets Per Minute. Kevin and the team at BSR have worked with us to ensure the excellent quality of the mastering, artwork and packaging. Please enjoy your journey back to Asgard at 33RPM!" - Joe Collinson&Sam Houghton

We Are OFK

OFK is a semi-fictionalized supergroup of musical pals living in Los Angeles (the brainchild of creative director Teddy Dief and perhaps some IRL experiences), working together to create some of the silkiest-smooth indie pop tunes this side of the West Coast…

…and iam8bit is proud to present these very tunes on a 2xLP vinyl. Here, we’ve got OFK’s entire debut EP, written & produced by Luna Shadows and Thom Powers (of The Naked and Famous). Plus, we’ve included art prints for each OFK single, featuring illustrations that capture the mood of the game’s signature interactive music videos.

But wait - there’s more powerpop! We’ve also included EXCLUSIVE OFK Acoustic tracks that you can only hear on wax. It’s OFK, AFK, like you’ve never heard them before.

Hahah. You thought that was it, but there’s still more goodies. This 2xLP also features select tracks from We Are OFK’s original score, from Omniboi featuring Nicole Brady and Wldr Ensemble. These songs are the soundtrack to OFK’s twentysomething misadventures, and they’re the perfect musical accompaniment for kicking back or kicking into gear and getting some serious creative work accomplished.

It’s all packed in hip ‘n’ funky album art from the illustrious Naf, with a gorgeous pastel nightscape across a sturdy gatefold jacket that’ll have you dreaming about that LA skyline.

Hard West & Hard West 2

With a gun full of lead and a fistful of witchcraft, Laced Records has formed a posse with Ice Code Games and Good Shepherd Entertainment to bring you music from turn-based supernatural westerns Hard West and Hard West 2 to good ol’ wax.

All music has been remastered for vinyl and will be pressed onto heavyweight LPs. Disc 1 is transparent orange and features the full 14-track OST from 2015’s Hard West. Disc 2 is transparent light blue and boasts 9 tracks selected from the Hard West 2 soundtrack. LPs come in printed inners, which are housed in a spined sleeve. Sleeve artwork for Hard West is by Grzegorz Przybyś, while Division48 Studio created the sleeve art for Hard West 2.

With Hard West, Marcin Przybyłowicz (Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077) set the mood for the series, employing twanging guitar, pounding drum beats, lonely trumpets and various atmospheric elements. On several of his more anxious cues, snatches of piano, guitar and violin emerge from the echoey fog to keep players on edge, while maintaining the heightened mix of fantasy-horror and Wild West aesthetics. For Hard West 2, Jason Graves (Dead Space 1&2, Tomb Raider [2013], Dark Pictures Anthology) gets grittier and grungier, while honouring the sound world of the original. Through his spartan use of bass guitar, percussion, and spooky synths, Graves summons a more primal, earthy sound, while still layering in the acoustic and electric guitars we associate with the dark side

Oddworld: Soulstorm

In celebration of our label's seventh anniversary, we have once again teamed up with Oddworld Inhabitants to release the soundtrack to Oddworld: Soulstorm - the explosive second game in their brand new Oddworld Quintology - on limited edition 180g vinyl.

Composed, mixed and mastered by the American EDM DJ and producer Josh Gabriel - you may know him from his work on the Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee soundtrack - the official soundtrack comes on limited edition 180g orange/black marbled vinyl in a full-coloured gatefold sleeve and includes four intense ambient bangers from the latest installment of the Oddworld series. All tracks have been remastered for the vinyl format by Christian Bethge.

Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty

"To celebrate their seventh anniversary, Black Screen Records have repressed their first vinyl release in a very long time. The soundtrack to Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty is finally back in stock - this time on 180g clear w/ green marbled vinyl. Composed, mixed and mastered by Michael Bross, the soundtrack comes in a full-coloured gatefold sleeve with RuptureFarms artwork by Raymond Swanland. This repress does not include the poster and Steam Key. ABOUT THE GAME: It was a long way from Abe’s debut in the 1997s Playstation One classic Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee to the beautiful ground-up remake Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty in 2014 but Abe is still looking great. Not only the graphics but also the complete video game soundtrack got an overall makeover - in 2015 Oddworld looks and sounds better than ever before.“

Phantasy Star II

Ship to Shore PhonoCo. is proud to present the original video game soundtrack to Sega’s seminal Sci-fi RPG Phantasy Star II!

Storming into Japanese stores in early 1989, the highly anticipated follow-up to 1987’s Phantasy Star was an instant hit commercially and critically. Taking its cue from the original epic, Phantasy Star II upped the ante by stuffing dozens of hours worth of gameplay into a towering 6MB cartridge — the largest seen on the market at that time. The game found its way to international markets in 1990 and has remain a beloved classic of all those who have ever played it since.

Tokuhiko Uwabo returns on soundtrack duty, once again combining complex, contemplative melodies with driving percussion. Not just music for nostalgia junkies but also for the fine connoisseurs of VGM!This limited edition LP features the original soundtrack from the SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive game pressed on a Ship to Shore exclusive “Rolf & Nei” blue and magenta swirl vinyl, with new liner notes from Retronatus’ Jeremy Parish and an 8-page booklet with rare artwork from the SEGA archives! This is one release fans will not want to miss!

PopSlinger

"PopSlinger, the vibrant musical shooter inspired by ‘90s anime from developer Funky Can Creative, pops its way to Nintendo Switch!

Join Earth’s new savior, Ria Carbon, as she embarks on a magical journey alongside her Popping Fairy Gin. Engage in strategic beat ‘em up brawls against colorful gooey monsters, heartless Corazones bosses, and sneaky secret agents sporting coffee weapons. Unlock Popping Powers by defeating enemies and climb to the top of the scoreboard in the arcade-inspired ranking system with a performance reactive soundtrack inspired by catchy City Pop and Future Funk.

Behind the Frame

Equal parts whimsical and contemplative, the music of developer Silver Lining Studio’s Behind the Frame paints a complete portrait of a young artist’s life, rife with its fair share of both happy greetings and melancholy goodbyes.

iam8bit is proud to present that sentimental soundtrack here, on pink and yellow two-toned vinyl, in collaboration with publisher Akupara Games. Special care has been given to the record’s presentation, featuring album art from the developers themselves and a disc design reminiscent of a nostalgic sunset over a golden field of wheat. This album is truly a true testament to Behind the Frame’s thoughtful, art-forward design.
