New Account Submissions

Hey everybody.

Since the beginning of the year, we've been flooded with fake/bot forum submissions and new account creations(even though some of the pseudonyms are entertaining). We've tried multiple approaches from user filters to captcha tests and ultimately decided to stop accepting any new submissions until the bot issue dies down. Now that it's been a few months, the flood has lessened to a trickle—It's manageable. But from now on, If you want to join the site and create a new account. Send an additional e-mail to VideoGameScores@live.com along with the account name that you've just created to let us know you're human.

Yeah, It's extra work, I know. For now It's the best we can do..
