Happy Forth of July! Year Six!

I can't believe it's been six years since this site went live. There have been some changes over the years.. The site certainly looks much different from when we started but our goal is the same, make finding high quality Video Game Music easier. One thing we're going to bring back this year is the community choice for our Original Game Score of the Year Awards. For those of you who are new to our site, each year since 2014, we host Video Game Music Awards. For the first three years, we revealed our choices as well as the community choice—that's determined by the soundtrack that receives the most votes by you guys. We became short on time(what's new), so we decided to scrap it for the time being. We received a number of requests to bring it back and we're doing so in 2020. We have a couple of ideas to keep it fun and interesting including possible giveaways to voters and that could be CDs, Vinyls, Art, Downloads or something else in the Video Game Music realm. We'll make a post at a later time when we have more information.

We love hearing how much you guys appreciate finding an album or track on our site that, after searching everywhere else online, you were finally able to track down. It's a lot of work getting these projects done and it means a lot to hear that you guys are enjoying the music. We especially enjoy hearing from music teachers that were looking to download a certain video game track or album in high quality to teach their students. I remember when I was in high school, it was nearly impossible to track down Video Game Music and now It's a much simpler process.

We've been trying hard to track down some of the out-of-print albums than have been requested and I want to let you know, we haven't given up and in fact have found a couple recently. Just attempting to convince the sellers to lower the prices a bit.. It can get expensive :) We'll post on these as well once we have more to say.

Here's to another year!
