Happy Fourth, Second Year!

Happy Birthday USA!

The second anniversary of Video Game Scores is here. Here's a little rundown of what's been happening over the past year.

We now have a total of 113 Downloadable albums on the site along with approximately 587 Purchasable albums. Since last year we've added Video Playlists, Popular Music and our Game Music Awards links. Our Soundcloud page continues to grow with followers, likes and reposts. As well as our Twitter and Tumblr accounts. It's crazy to think that our overall website views have quadrupled since last Fourth of July! It's means a lot to us to hear how much you guys appreciate our site, we hope it continues to grow and we hope that we continue to make finding the video game music you're looking for as easy as possible. If you run into any broken links or perhaps if we credited the wrong composer on an album or got the release date incorrect... Please, shoot us an e-mail and let us know. We're usually on top of that stuff but on a rare occasion we may look over them from time to time.

On a side note, I saw that last year I mentioned that the "The Darkness" and "No More Heroes" soundtracks were the lowest in number of times downloaded and I'm glad to announce that's no longer the case! For The Darkness especially, it's popularity has shot up. It is still one of my favorite video game albums to date. So it feels good to see that others are discovering and enjoying it now as well.

Here's to another year!
