Hello, unfortunately the soundtrack for this specific game was never released as its own album, and the only existing version of the ost is a lossy rip on khinsider and they did a very good job, but unfortunately it is incomplete, has some buggy files and i don't think it's placebo if I say that some tracks don't sound how they should. I've tried looking into the artist's portfolio and various social medias, I've even tried to contact him myself but to no avail. However, on his Soundcloud he keeps some professional reels, among which there are songs from this exact game. https://soundcloud.com/bergeaud_composer/sets/game-reel
Track 4 from this reel for example is the iconic Blackwater City stage. Other than these two incomplete options, there's no other way to obtain the official score, so I thought that it could be a perfect candidate for receiving the VGS treatment.
Hey. Nice find! I installed a flash player extension and listened though a couple of the cues. They are higher quality than the Soundcloud reels you posted a few months ago which is very much welcomed(especially since there is still no official OST released). It looks like that website has not been updated in quite a long time.. I would like to upload those cues for others to download but I'm going to have to contact them first regarding copyright protection to gain permission.
If anyone reading this wishes to download the cues sooner, just follow the steps posted by TheHooligan95 above and you'll have no issue.
Thanks again for the post!
Hey. Oddly enough, we've actually had quite a few requests for the original Ratchet & Clank recently. So, that's a project we certainly want to do soon(it's also one of my all-time favorite series). Those soundcloud track reels are interesting, they sound high-quality. I'm curious of their bit-rate and whether they're lossless. We always try to shoot for official releases or at least tracks edited by the composer but sometimes they're just not able to offer them as downloads. If that's the case, we'll properly go through our extraction/editing process to keep the music as true as we possible can.
We'll post an update when we've made some progress.
