The Game Awards 2017
Just a reminder that The 2017 Game Awards hosted by Geoff Keighley begins tomorrow night(December 7th) at 5:30pm Pacific Time. There will apparently be two new game "world" announcements along with appearances by Hideo Kojima, movie director Guillermo Del Toro, actor Andy Serkis (known for playing Gollum from The Lord of the Rings series as well as games such as Ninja Theory's Heavenly Sword and Enslaved: Odyssey to the West) and actor Jack Black (who also voiced the lead character in the Double-fine game Brutal Legend and a side character in Broken Age).
There will also be live performances by the band Phoenix, cellist Tina Guo, Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates and for the first time the show will feature an Orchestra to perform video game music from the past and present(cannot wait to see the song choices). Since The Game Awards began four years ago, it's fair to say it's steadily improved with each show. Between the guests, awards and the live performances(Mick Gordon playing DOOM tracks last year!?) there's more than enough reason to watch the show if you enjoy the art of video games.
