Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link(I keep wanting to call this "The Legend of Zelda II") was released in January of 1987 for the NES and is composed by Akito Nakatsuka. I exported the tracks from the .nsf(NES Sound Format) file and came away with 31 tracks; half of them are music tracks and the other half are fanfares and sound effects. We took the usual steps: editing, amplifying and looping each one of the tracks (the sound effects are looped twice). I didn't include the shortened duplicate tracks. What I am referring to is, there are two version of the Overworld Theme, Great Palace and Palace Theme(one has an intro and the other does not). I included the versions with the introduction; preferring the most complete. I also left out a handful of sound effects that aren't musical jingles or fanfares. As for tagging the sound effects included.. Considering most of the sound effects are played at various moments throughout the game. I decided to display them as "Sound Effect 24-48" at the end of the soundtrack.

And I'm glad to announce that this is the first soundtrack that we uploaded in both FLAC and MP3. I know everybody's been requesting that for quite a while so... Here you go! You'll find Zelda II: The Adventure of Link Soundtrack in the archive.
